It’s been extremely hectic lately around the Cadovius household. My son broke his wrist, and our A.C. went out (we live in South Florida so that’s quickly an emergency). That combined with normal homeschooling life has made my stress level a little high. Usually when “life stuff” strikes, I tend to eat my feelings and avoid exercising. I’m not sure why, but it feels daunting so make healthy choices when stress hits. It’s an area of my life I’m working on and I’m feeling really great about this past week!

I am down 3 pounds in the last week! EEEEEEK!!! YAY!!! (throws hands in the air) With my hormonal issues and getting older (I’m 38), I have to fight for every pound. My body loves to hold onto it and it’s an on-going battle to lose anything. I AM THRILLED! The best part is I’m making choices I KNOW I can keep up for life. This is no quick fix. I’ve done too many of those before and quickly realized their success was short-lived. This is the happiest I’ve been in a very long time so I hope you join me in getting healthier.
